The Writer Gal
My name is Hadley Krummel, and I grew up a little fiery cotton top blazing through the humid summers of West Houston. I attended Houston Christian high school, ended up at The University of Virginia, and am now pursuing a degree in Cognitive Science with a minor in Spanish and Data Analytics. I've always enjoyed most everything I've ever done, and it took me a while to recognize that you can pursue professional success while having fulfilling hobbies on the side: so birthed this blog into reality.

Why Glomp? The day I sat down to bring this blog to fruition, I held a brush in my hand glomping thick paint onto the roof of our house. I had no idea what it meant, but I could just hear each gelatinous mass of pigment speak to me as it flew through its arc to its new home on the wood below, glomp. Curious, I opened my laptop to see if the onomatopoeia was even a word at all, and a tiny smile took my lips.

Just like the satisfying smush of paint to roof, I attempt to collide zealously with life. Being an "over-the-top" person and a hugger myself, I thought Glomp the perfect word to encapsulate this page of my existence analyzed. I feel I walk the obnoxious intersection between enthusiasm, risk, and passion in my daily creation of reality, so what better word to employ as the vexillum to it all.

To anyone who has yet to yield a pen or open their computer to transcribe their soul. Do it. Writing has been an escape and a fortuitous blessing for me since I began tapping the keys of my computer. I hope that my words are able to proliferate and ameliorate others' afflictions as much as they aid my own navigation of life's enigma.
